Notes

'Ruby' coneflower (Echinacea 'Ruby') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Strong stems hold over-sized double flowers in a true claret-ruby red above green, lance-shaped leaves. It blooms from early to late summer and draws bees.

Pairs well with Sedge, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Royal fern.
