Notes
'Ruffled Clouds' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ruffled Clouds') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pure white, slightly fragrant flowers open in early summer. The ruffled, rounded petals surround red stigmas and show off the stamens. Roy G. Klehm bred it.
Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Scentara Double Blue lilac, and Sensitive fern.
