Notes
'Ruffled Red Magic' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia 'Ruffled Red Magic') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It blooms from early to late summer and tolerates drought once settled in. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room, since it can reach about 12 feet tall.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Agapanthus, and Orange daylily.
