Notes
'Ruimired' rose (Rosa 'Ruimired') is a shrub with dark red blooms and dark green leaves. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It stays small, at 6 to 12 inches tall and 6 to 12 inches wide. The bushy habit suits small spaces where you want compact color. Bear Creek Gardens introduced it in 1991.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Avens, and Gladiolus.
