Notes
'RUIRJ0078A' rose (Rosa rugosa 'RUIRJ0078A') is a shrub for pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It grows fast into an arching, fragrant mound that draws butterflies, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.
Pairs well with Nannyberry viburnum, Red fescue, and Indigo bush.
