Notes

'Salsa' rose (Rosa 'Salsa') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red flowers are fragrant and bloom in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms, and the glossy dark green leaves make a good backdrop. Christian Evers bred it in 2014.

Pairs well with False indigo, Goldenrod, and Ornamental onion.
