Notes

'Sangria' rose (Rosa 'Sangria') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Marie-Louise bred it, and URS introduced it in 1966.

Pairs well with Coral Charm peony, Clary sage, Inkberry, and Stargazer lily.
