Notes

'Saul' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Saul') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows tall and bears single pink blooms. The flowers open large, but they do not hold their fine form for long, so cut them soon after they open.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Spotted beebalm, and Lily of the valley.
