Notes
'Sauron' tulip (Tulipa 'Sauron') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Red blooms open in early to late spring on stems about 10 inches tall. Hybris B.V. bred it. The flowers also draw pollinators to the garden.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Fire and Ice hosta, and Monsieur Jules Elie peony.
