Notes

'Sayokyoku' rose (Rosa 'Sayokyoku') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Hiroshi Hirabayashi bred it in 1999. The light pink blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Little bluestem, Queen of Night tulip, and Stained Glass hosta.
