Notes

'Scepter' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Scepter') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. The flowers are fragrant, so you can enjoy them up close in a vase. Bees visit the blooms, which open from early to late summer. Cut a few stems for indoors and leave the rest for the bees.

Pairs well with Tuberose, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Mountain mint.
