Notes

'Scherzo' rose (Rosa 'Scherzo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant red blend blooms appear in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Marie-Louise bred it in 1976.

Pairs well with Bridal wreath spiraea, Pink Hawaiian Coral peony, and Casa Blanca lily.
