Notes

Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris) is a tree for specimen planting, privacy screens, winter interest, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and stays evergreen, with blue-green needles in a columnar shape that birds visit. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it room to reach its full height.

Pairs well with Globosa Colorado spruce, Red fescue, and Rock soapwort.

Asia and Europe.
