Notes

'Glauca' Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris 'Glauca') is a tree for specimen planting, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast, has a columnar shape, and stays evergreen all year. Deer tend to pass it by. Birds visit the tree, and it tolerates drought, so it needs little care once settled.

Pairs well with Silver feather grass, Little Carlow tartarian aster, and Minima Aurea lawson's cypress.
