Notes

'Secret Affair' coneflower (Echinacea 'Secret Affair') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in summer and again in autumn, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. You can cut the stems for bouquets.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, and Red-hot poker.
