Notes

'Secret Desire' coneflower (Echinacea 'Secret Desire') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms, and the plant handles dry spells well. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, and Red-hot poker.
