Notes

'Secret Glow' coneflower (Echinacea 'Secret Glow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deep yellow orange petals surround light orange centers, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The flowers are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Clustered bellflower, and Nodding onion.
