Notes
'Secret Lust' coneflower (Echinacea 'Secret Lust') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its double, light-pink petals surround an orange-red center cone, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer rarely make it their first choice. This coneflower is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, and Cytherea peony.
