Notes

'Serene Pastel' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Serene Pastel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers open in mid to late spring. They start light salmon to blush pink with rounded guard petals. In the landscape they lighten to white with blush pink highlights.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Blue sage, and Cinnamon fern.
