Notes

Sevenleaf creeper (Parthenocissus heptaphylla) is a vine for ground cover, naturalized areas, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. It grows rapidly and can trail along the ground or climb, though it lacks adhesive discs and climbs walls less than Virginia Creeper. Its leaves turn red or orange in fall, and birds visit it. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Gaura, and Cherry laurel.
