Notes

'Severina' peony (Paeonia 'Severina') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early yellow semi-double flowers have a slight citrus fragrance and face upward. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plants reach about 30 inches and stand without support.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Switchgrass, Pink Impression tulip, and Bobo hydrangea.
