Notes

'Shades of Rose' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Shades of Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 18 to 24 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Pink and yellow petals surround a yellow-brown center, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Mexican hat, New England aster, Little bluestem, and Feather reed grass.
