Notes
'Showbiz' rose (Rosa 'Showbiz') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant, medium red blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the bushy plant stays fairly low. Mathias Tantau, Jr bred it, and Rosen Tantau introduced it in 1983.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Jackmanii clematis, and Amsonia.
