Notes

'Signora' rose (Rosa 'Signora') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant orange blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Domenico Aicardi bred it in 1936, and the glossy leaves grow on stems with few or no thorns.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Joe Pye weed, and Queen of Night tulip.
