Notes

'Silver Chalice' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Silver Chalice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its cup-shaped blooms open blush white with gold stamens and a hint of carmine on some edges. The flowers sit on a high crown and have a faint fragrance. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Royal fern, and Catnip.
