Notes
'Silver Threads' lawson's cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Silver Threads') is a shrub for borders and accents that needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into an ascending evergreen shrub that reaches about 35 to 59 inches tall. It spreads 24 to 36 inches wide, so give it room in the border.
Pairs well with Juneberry, Sweet woodruff, and Grape hyacinth.
