Notes
'Single Bliss' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Single Bliss') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, single flowers open early in spring in rosy pink that fades lighter. Long filaments hold the stamens up in the center of each bloom. Miss Mary Eliza Blacklock bred it.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Monkshood.
