Notes

'Sky Rocket' oriental fountain grass (Cenchrus orientalis 'Sky Rocket') is a grass for annual beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It stands 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. White blooms with purple-pink bristles appear in mid to late summer and again in early to mid autumn.

Pairs well with Lemon grass, Gerbera daisy, and Begonia.
