Notes

'Karley Rose' oriental fountain grass (Cenchrus orientalis 'Karley Rose') is a perennial for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dusty rose flowers appear for most of the summer and fade to silver. The dark green leaves stand tall and upright, and the plant handles drought. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Gladiolus, and Autumn fern.
