Notes

Smooth beggartick (Bidens laevis) is an annual for pollinator gardens and low maintenance planting. It is typically grown as an annual. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms until frost, and bees and butterflies visit the yellow flowers. Plant it in a bog or at the edge of a pond, where it reseeds easily.

Pairs well with Calla lily, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Lemongrass.
