Notes
'Snow Angel' peony (Paeonia 'Snow Angel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Hermann Krupke bred it as a seedling of 'Archangel'. The pure white semi-double flowers have a red stigma and a fresh fragrance.
Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Minuteman hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
