Notes
'Snow Candles' spiked speedwell (Veronica spicata 'Snow Candles') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. It grows in a tidy clump and tolerates salt. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Snowcap Shasta daisy, and Lady's mantle.
