Notes

'Icicle' spiked speedwell (Veronica spicata 'Icicle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. White flowers appear in late spring and again from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Gladiator ornamental onion, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Kansas peony.
