Notes
'Soir d'Eté' rose (Rosa 'Soir d'Eté') is a shrub for fragrant borders, cutting beds, and mixed plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). The medium red flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Dark green leaves set off the blooms. Paul Croix bred this rose, and it stays compact at about 24 to 31 inches tall.
Pairs well with Coneflower, Green Velvet buxus, and Fountain grass.
