Notes

'Solo Flight' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Solo Flight') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a large Japanese type with pale pink guard petals and a high pale yellow center. The tall, upright plant covers itself with bloom in early summer. Professor Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Royal fern, and Shrub rose.
