Notes

'Solon' tulip (Tulipa 'Solon') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The pink blooms have a lighter margin and open from early to late spring. Their soft color looks lovely in a mixed border or a vase. C.G. van Tubergen bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Shirley Temple peony, and Little bluestem.
