Notes

'Sombrero Sangrita' coneflower (Echinacea 'Sombrero Sangrita') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and has a fragrant scent. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Black-eyed Susan, and Garlic chives.
