Notes

'Son Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Son Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single, fragrant, cupped flowers have pale yellow petals with small red flares at the base. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum, Queen of Night tulip, and Blue grama.
