Notes

'Soshi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Soshi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its Japanese type flowers open in late spring to early summer in crimson or violet-red with a yellow center. Millet & Son bred it, and the plant has a spreading habit.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
