Notes

'Southern Belle' coneflower (Echinacea 'Southern Belle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers in summer and again in autumn. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plants grow 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, so give them room.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, and Red-hot poker.
