Notes
'Spate Braun' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Spate Braun') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It is grown for fresh eating, and its columnar shape fits small spaces. Blooms open in early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. Plant a second cherry nearby, since this one is not self-fertile.
Pairs well with Rowan, Thalia daffodil, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
