Notes
Spotted bellflower (Campanula punctata) is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows fast and forms an arching clump. White to pale pink bells with purple spots inside open in spring and again in summer.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Gaura.
Native range
Siberia and Japan.
