Notes
'Springbrook' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Springbrook') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Crimson red blooms open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Little bluestem, Moonshine yarrow, and Prairie Sun rudbeckia.
