Notes

'Squash Tempura' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Squash Tempura') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Yellow-orange flowers with a green throat are fragrant. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Empress Wu hosta, and Blush peony.
