Notes

'Sterling' rose (Rosa 'Sterling') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its medium pink blooms are fragrant and attract bees. It blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Earl H. Mann bred it in 1933.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
