Notes
'StoX Silver' stock (Matthiola incana 'StoX Silver') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The pink blooms are fragrant and open in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with California poppy, Feverfew, and Snake's head.
