Notes
'StoX Yellow' stock (Matthiola incana 'StoX Yellow') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant yellow blooms open in spring and again in summer, and bees, butterflies, and birds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Growers bred it for high-quality blooms and easy selection of double-flowering plants.
Pairs well with Cornflower, Fountain grass, and Black Baccara rose.
