Notes

'Striped Ambition' dahlia (Dahlia 'Striped Ambition') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The fringed lavender blooms have dark purple streaks and a fuzzy look. Each flower measures 4 to 5 inches across. J. van der Linden & Zonen B.V. bred it in 2008.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Blue Angel hosta, Mondo grass, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
