Notes

'Strong Gold' daffodil (Narcissus 'Strong Gold') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant yellow blooms open in mid-season, and the center cup is a darker yellow than the petals. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Foam flower, Blue fescue, and Cora Louise peony.
