'Sugar Rush' Siberian iris (Iris sibirica 'Sugar Rush') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The fragrant flowers have golden yellow and watermelon-red falls with creamy-white and lavender standards. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees visit the blooms, and the strap-like leaves look good all season.
Pairs well with Pink Hawaiian Coral peony, Carlton daffodil, Shrub rose, and Orange daylily.
